Chris Waller-trained filly Iskander staged a promising effort in winning here at her second race start. She showed good pace from a wide barrier (9) and worked in the early stages before finding the lead. She then travelled well, got clear on straightening and although tiring in the closing stages after her early efforts, she held on to score a good win.
