The Gerald Ryan-trained colt Pedway staged a very promising effort, winning clearly here, resuming at his second race start. He was smartly way, travelled well outside the leader (Where’s Emma), got the better of that mare at the 200m and then raced away to score impressively, in quick time (56.59).
