John Thompson-trained gelding Blenders Edition followed his impressive debut win in a 3YO Maiden (1350m) at Newcastle on 22 June with another good win here. He again settled towards the tail of the field before improving (deep) nearing the home turn. He then came with a strong finishing run, getting up to score, appearing to do so with something in hand. He also ran the 1600m out well and looks to have a promising future.
