Spinning Jenny is a promising staying filly. She relaxed nicely in second place, following a moderate tempo, before moving up to challenge approaching the home turn. She took the lead at the 200m and fought on well to score by half a length, her fourth win in nine starts. Iggimacool was seventh on the rails to the 600m, before switching between runners nearing the home turn. She got into the clear on straightening and kept making ground to grab second nearing the post. Geegees Velvet was back in sixth place before making a wide run at the turn. She then continued to battle on well, making ground for third. The David Hayes-trained Pressure Down was handy all the way and held on for fourth while the favourite At The Weekend was fifth to the 1200m before improving three wide without cover from the 1000m. She challenged at the home turn and battled on for a close-up fifth. *ANZ
