Iggimacool took her record to five wins from ten starts with an easy win here in the Tasmanian Oaks (Listed, 2100m). She was ridden patiently and settled back in ninth place, one off the rails. She started her run from the 600m, moved up widest of all approaching the turn, hit the lead shortly after straightening and then drew away to win by three and three quarter lengths, putting up a good staying performance. Geegees Velvet enjoyed a good trip, third on the rails. She switched out three deep at the 600m, took the lead nearing the turn and battled on well for a good second, finding the winner too strong in the final stages. At The Weekend was near last in the 11-horse field to the 800m. She improved wide with cover from the 600m but was under riding at the turn and made late ground, without looking dangerous for third beaten just over five lengths. *ANZ
