Three-year-old filly Prettyhappyaboutit began well from her barrier (9) and worked (wide) early to settle outside the leader (Thiamandi). She challenged shortly after turning for home, took the lead passing the 200m and went on to win well by a length. It was her third win in eight starts and she did well to score after her early efforts. The lightly raced two-year-old colt Thermal Current ($2.05 favourite) settled about sixth, one off the rails, between runners. She switched out wide rounding the home turn, got to fourth at the 200m and continued to run on nicely for a good firstup second. Three-year-old gelding Heart Of A Lion got through from his good barrier (2) to race in third spot on the rails to the turn. He moved up three wide on straightening and fought on nicely for third, while two-year-old filly Thiamandi showed good pace to lead to the 200m before tiring for (three and half lengths) fourth. *ANZ
