Rhythm To Spare went back to third last from his wide barrier (14) about eight lengths from the leader Boristar. He travelled into the race well and cornered on the outside of the field. He responded well to Oliver in the straight and raced up to to take the lead at the 250m and then raced right away to score with plenty in hand. He is a very smart horse that showed his true level of ability after two disappointing runs in Sydney in late March and early April. *ANZ
