Promising colt Eurozone began well and had a good trip one out and one back before moving up three wide approaching the home turn. He took a clear lead at the 400m then fought back strongly to win by three quarter lengths, remaining unbeaten in his two starts to date. The favourite Bull Point was again slowly away and was ridden hard to recover before being shuffled back to sixth, one off the rails. He went wide rounding the home turn, improved to third at the 200m and then kept fighting on for a sound second. Wouldnt It Be Nice was eased at the start and raced at the tail of the six-horse field. He took a split between runners at the turn, put in a good run to be second at the 200m and then battled on for a sound third. *ANZ
