Solicit soon crossed from her wide barrier (12) to take the lead. She then settled well, picked up the tempo from the 600m and dashed right away over the final stages to score most impressively. Coronation Shallan was handy all the way and held on for (5 lengths) fifth in a sound effort while the favourite Scarlet Billows was always well back and disappointed in finishing (7 lengths) tenth.
