With the benefit of a good effort in finishing fourth on debut at Flemington on Melbourne Cup day, Arctic Angel gave her opposition no excuses here. Zarpoya was locked away on the rails and well back turning in. She found a split next to the fence in the straight and ran on particularly well to the line for a very promising third on debut.
