Shigeru Sendan enjoyed a nice run in the race fifth on the fence. She responded well in the straight to take the lead at the 150m and prove too good for Uratta Belle who came with a big run late. The first two pulled well clear of the rest and the winner appeared to score with a little in hand. A promising horse. Uratta Belle ran well in defeat. She came from sixth between runners before taking the home turn on the outside. She finished on really well for a good second. *ANZ
