The Paul Messara-trained three-year-old gelding Caerless Choice impressed in scoring here on debut. He was ridden patiently, settled back in tenth place, one off the rails, before fanning deep on straightening. He then sprinted quickly, hit the front at the 100m and drew away to score comfortably. It was a very smart effort and he looks to have a bright future.
