The Matthew Smith-trained filly My Maher impressed in winning here on debut. She was slow to move but soon recovered (under riding) to race in third place, between runners, following a quick tempo. She then challenged at the 200m, got to the front at the 100m before drawing clear to score a very good win. The Kris Lees-trained Biscuit Time showed good pace to lead and led the field until nearing the 100m before holding on for second, also racing on debut.
