Tab More Than Just Winning Mdn
Gai Waterhouse-trained filly Thyme For Roses, a shortpriced favourite in this small four-horse field, scored narrowly. She was a bit slow to move and then worked in the early stages before finding the lead. She was clear at the home turn, and although tiring in the closing stages, just lasted to win in a photo, putting up quite a good effort on debut. Rather Sweet showed good pace to lead before easing to race in second place after being pressured. She was under riding at the home turn, drifted a bit deep in the straight but rallied, running on late for a good second, putting on a nice effort at only her second race start.
