Godolphin-raced filly Couvre Lit was quite impressive in winning here on debut. She settled in third place but going a bit keenly in stages before moving up nearing the home turn. She got to the front at the 100m and then went on to score comfortably. She looks a filly with a good future. Chris Waller-trained colt Adana settled in fifth place on the rails from his inside barrier (1), improved coming to the home turn, took a moment to wind up at the 200m but then ran on really well over the closing stages to take a promising second, also on debut. He looks suited to further and is a horse to watch.
