Kris Lees-trained filly Smart Melody is now unbeaten after three starts. She began reasonably well but soon drove through from her inside barrier (1) to settled in third place, on the rails. She was blocked nearing the home turn, got a rails run on straightening, hit the front shortly afterwards and then went on to win easily.
