Godolphin-raced three-year-old Nindamos staged a very promising effort in winning here on debut. He did now show any early pace and settled at the tail of the 11-horse field before James McDonald urged him to improve approaching the home turn. He fanned deep on straightening, responded and sprinted strongly, hit the front on passing the 100m and went on to score, seemingly with something in hand. He looks suited to further and is a horse to watch. Arrowfield-raced colt Jimmu was caught deep in sixth place, improved (wide) nearing the home turn, challenged at the 100m and battled on quite well after a wide trip for second in a sound effort on debut.
