On a competitive early pace, High Fashion passed the post in eighth with a lap to run. She received a nice drag into contention on the back of North Of Sunset from the 800m, sprinted up to lead at the 200m and raced clear. On the inside of the winner approaching the home turn, Chandelier was blocked for room early in the straight and did well once clear to run home strongly for second. Emerald Queen tagged onto the back of High Fashion from the 800m and although unable to match her acceleration early in the straight, she ran the race out in good style for third. The first three fillies home are all by the Waikato Stud based O’Reilly. North Of Sunset, La Vitesse, and Sworntoperfection were next across the line, all with solid performances. *ANZ
