Platinum Witness, the Australian bred filly, looked the winner when cruising to the lead at the 200m after settling midfield the outer. She was nabbed on the line for a share of the winning spoils by the stout closing Savaria that is certainly peaking for the Oaks. Platinum Witness will get the Oaks trip on the basis of today at 2100m and class always counts as she has that quick turn of foot while Savaria is a wind up filly that take a while to hit full stride. Pip Beel the next best filly in the field for scope on better footing fought on for third albeit in a gap from the pair of co-winners. Dream Run ran a cheeky race in front and perhaps better rated can do something in the G1 Oaks at Trentham. Tasha Aimee was not too bad while Choice is a wet tracker. The first four home all are Oaks chances with Platinum Witness the class act having won at G1 over a mile already. Savaria has that closing power of a stamina filly and Pipi Beel will be all the better for her first look over ground. Dream Run was sound and the gap between her in fourth and the next filly home was a substantial four lengths.
