Jamie Kah Out To Join Payne As Cup Winner

Jamie Kah will bid to become just the second female jockey to ride a Melbourne Cup winner when she gets on board Prince Of Arran today.

The Charlie Fellowes-trained European raider has finished in the frame in each of the last two runnings of the race, and Kah is hopeful of another big run today, especially after drawing barrier one.

"I think he'll go super. I am rapt with the barrier. He's looking amazing and I think he's a massive chance," Kah said.

"Charlie (Fellowes) has kept to a quite simple routine and his track rider has been on him every day and I went and saw him on Friday. His coat is absolutely gleaming since his Caulfield Cup run. He's really tightened up. "
