Liz Cambage has been named a starter for this month's WNBA All-Star game.

The Australian centre's third All-Star selection comes after leading her WNBA team, the Las Vegas Aces, to the top of the league's standings averaging 15.6 points, 7.5 rebounds, two assists and 1.4 blocks a game.

The WNBA announced on Thursday the 10 starters for the July 27 All-Star game in Las Vegas.

Washington Mystics' Elena Delle Donne and the Las Vegas Aces' A'ja Wilson led the list of 10 starters - four guards and six frontcourt players from across the WNBA - who were selected by fans, current WNBA players and media.

Delle Donne and Wilson will serve as team captains and draft the All-Star Game rosters from the pool of players voted as starters and reserves.

The other All-Star starters are the Phoenix Mercury's Brittney Griner, the Seattle Storm's Natasha Howard and Jewell Loyd, the Connecticut Sun's Jonquel Jones, the Los Angeles Sparks' Chelsea Gray, Las Vegas' Kayla McBride and the New York Liberty's Kia Nurse.

The 12 All-Star reserves will be selected by the league's head coaches and announced on July 15.

The coaches will vote for three guards, five front court players and four players at either position regardless of conference.

They may not vote for their own players.

Delle Donne and Wilson will select their respective rosters in the All-Star Draft by choosing first from the remaining pool of eight starters and then from the pool of 12 reserves.
