The Gai Waterhouse-trained Pierro is now second favourite in TAB Sportsbet's Golden Slipper market.

Starting the day as a $10 chance, Pierro is now $6.50 with only Samaready ($4.40) in front of him following his outstanding win in the Silver Slipper Stakes at Rosehill.

Pierro was friendless in Silver Slipper betting, drifting from $2.80 to $4.40.

Despite the defeat, Hussousa also firmed in the Golden Slipper market from $15 to $13, while Kyria, had her price slashed in half from $101 to $51 after running third.

The Robert Smerdon-trained Mosheen was a runaway winner of the Australian Guineas at Flemington and landed some good bets for punters in the process.
