The Michael Hickmott trained speedster Rescue Mission remains favourite for the Palmerston Sprint, after drawing favourably in barrier 2 for Saturday’s feature race at Fannie Bay

Rescue Mission is a $3.60 favourite for the Northern Territory’s richest dash, with the Neil Dyer trained Action Again second favourite at $5.00.

“Rescue Mission showed plenty of talent in his Darwin debut and looks the one to beat,” Sportingbet Australia CEO Michael Sullivan said.

“Action Again has been the best backed though and we took two significant four-figure bets for him prior to the final field being declared."

Muchos Respectos is on the third line of betting at $7.50, ahead of Dream Face at $8.00 and Duke Of Cornwall at $8.50.

Meanwhile, Spartan Eagle remains a rock solid $4 favourite for Monday’s Darwin Cup following the five-year-old’s impressive win in last Saturday’s Metric Mile.

Red Colossus is a $5 second favourite for the cup in front of Extra Zero at $5.50 and Bolton at $6.00.
