Coolmore-raced/Lindsay Park-trained filly Tulip took out her second Group Three race in impressive fashion here. Having her second start this preparation, she was smartly away and settled in sixth place (wide with cover) before moving up nicely nearing the home turn. She then sprinted quickly, hit the front at the 100m and then went on to score, seemingly with something in hand. Leon and Troy Corstens-trained filly True Excelsior was quickly away and went straight to the front. She then set a good tempo, was pressured coming to the home turn but was only overtaken at the 100m before holding on well for a good second. Seannie settled well back as expected and was last in the 13-horse field at the 600m. She improved (wide with cover) approaching the home turn, went deepest of all at the bend and then ran on very well to grab third, staging another really smart effort.
