Miss Fabulass appreciated being ridden off the pace here and made a lie of her seemingly disappointing sixth in the Furious Stakes (Gr 2, 1200m) at this track on September 1 with an impressive victory here. She settled in seventh place (on the rails), was blocked on turning for home but got a split at the 200m and then raced away to score impressively. Fiesta settled back in eighth place, before improving (wide with cover) from the 800m. She challenged strongly on passing the 200m and the fought on well for a good second. Pretty In Pink settled back in third last place in the 12-horse field from her wide barrier (11), tracked up from the 600m and kept making ground for a good third. Oohood raced in fifth place, but caught wide, moved up well (three wide) rounding the home turn and then held on for (3.4 lengths) fourth. Mark Newnhamtrained filly Maid Of Heaven raced in last place to the home turn and ran on in promising fashion for (3.7 lengths) fifth in a nice performance, rising in class at her third start.
