STORM HARBOUR is building to a win including a last start third in this grade. Looks suited at the longer journey and gets chance to return to winning form. THE GATTING BALL is his stablemate and looks the biggest danger. Last start winner at this journey in easier grade but won well. Can measure up again. KAAPOW is another last start winner. Was an effortless winner of a Highweight and although facing a tougher assignment here has the big weight drop and is at top now. SAVEYOURENTHUSIASM is another who won last time and from a nice alley can put himself into the finish again. Penola: Race 3 @ 2:25pm (AEST)
BAJAN was a close up fifth in tougher company last time in town. Looks well placed here with the light weight and should be running on strongly. SOUL FIRE is racing well and scored last start in a similar race. Carries same weight here after the claim and should go close again. CANNY MOVE was slowly away last time but got home into third and looks a danger here. Drawn for a soft run and drops significantly in the weights. ANY GIVEN GLASS was good fresh and can sneak into the finish again. SELECTIONS: #5 Bajan will go close on latest effort.Hobart: Race 4 @ 2:33pm
THE DECIDER has raced favourite all three runs back and is ready to win for Brunton with Newitt sticking. Gets the blinkers first time and can make further improvement back to the grass. SHARING SECRETS is still a Maiden but impressed placing FU for the new yard bringing SA form. Has more to offer and a bold run is on the cards. KINGSCLERE is back to the grass and he got closer the latest. The claim assists. LORD DERBY will be better 2U and has trialled well since last seen. SELECTIONS: #5 The Decider gets his chance.Coleraine: Race 6 @ 4pm
SET THE BAR HIGH has been working up to a win, the latest a close up third over a mile. Will strip fitter again and looks suited by the longer journey. Sure to go close. BOSSY ROSE ran on steadily over a slightly longer journey last time. Drawn for a good run and will be winding up strongly again. JIMIVAG pulled up lame last time when well held. Rates strongly here and expected to improve sharply. NORTHSET is a consistent type who can overcome the draw and looks an each way chance. FORK HANDLES brings strong provincial and city form and missed a whisker 3U at Northam. Peaks and clearly looks the one to beat with the handy claim. MORE BXAAR is going well and missed 1L at Northam the latest. That stacks right up. ASK LISA resumes and is sharp in that state. Draws low and expect a bold run. HERE'S WALLY missed a whisker FU as a hot favourite and has won 2/3 2U. Draws out but gets Pike first time and the weight drop and looks the one. OUTER DETENTION has been knocking on the door since scoring the double and didn’t have the best of it last time. The low gate advantages. SENORITA BONITA is also ready to win and gets another chance. BOS TAURUS draws out but gets a big weight drop and expect his form to stack right up. SELECTIONS: #7 Where’s Wally to win the Cup with the Pike factor.
