Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays for Australian TAB meetings on September 24.
Four TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Monday at Bathurst, Queanbeyan, Pakenham and Northam.
Northam: Race 7 @ 6:10pm
KIA ORA STAR missed a lip at Belmont the latest heavily-backed returning to a dry track. He keeps Pike and this looks ideal using the low gate. MAGIC LAS VEGAS won comfortably and then missed a nose both as favourite. He will stalk from the rail and go close. WATIJADOO beat the above LS up from the mile on the speed. Fitter and is right in it again. PERSISTENCE TIME may be next best. SELECTIONS: Expecting # 2 Kia Ora Star to have a slight edge.

Queanbeyan: Race 3 @ 2:30pm
Speed anticipated from both Waltzing Willie and Eden Road. CANFORD CALLING really caught the eye late at this track last start when getting a long way out of his ground over 1460m. Expected to be a lot closer here from the good draw and certainly appears well placed on best form. Sweeney legs back aboard and he should prove hard to beat. WALTZING WILLIE drops back sharply in grade and obviously commands respect from the favourable draw. More than capable when right. DRAMATICO the next in line. SELECTIONS: Che Bella Vita gets the nod.
Bathurst: Race 6 @ 4:35pm
Pace genuine with Panuara, Takahashi and Sugar Lane pushing forward. PANUARA was wide throughout last time in a tougher grade and wasn't beaten far. Has the inside gate here and expected to go close. GRAND THEFT AUTO has been working up to a win including a last start fourth in much tougher company. Drawn okay and will be winding up late. NOT A SOUND is a lightly raced mare who is resuming. Fitter for a trial and has placed fresh. Rates strongly here. BELL SERENADE is an each way chance.SELECTIONS: Panuara will take catching from the inside.
Pakenham: Race 8 @ 5:00pm
Pace strong with Thee Jenner, Moonlight Hussler and Don't Retreat pushing forward. MAXEY CAMPO is overdue for a win and gets chance here. Was slowly away when fifth last time in tougher class and the start prior was in traffic, also in tougher grade. Well placed here and with a low draw will go close. WOLFE TONE is resuming and looks the biggest danger. Form good for this and will be tough to hold out. THEE JENNER is racing well with a win and two seconds from last three. Down in weight and should give a sight. REIGNING IN PARIS is overdue. SELECTIONS: Maxey Campo can find best.
