Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays for Australian TAB meetings on October 1.

Five Australian TAB meetings are held today at Randwick, Muswellbrook, Beaudesert and Naracoorte.

Kensington: Race 7 @ 4:20pm

Nictock, Memes, Puppet Master and Super Too should all contribute to a strong early tempo. TACTICAL ADVANTAGE has won two of his three runs this prep. Is racing well however to the stable's credit, is being placed to perfection. This looks another case in point. Should take beating from the good draw. SUPER TOO is a speed machine. Disappointed first up in the Carlyon Stakes however was found to be lame post race. BOSS LANE has recaptured form at Group level. Easier here. FIRSTHAND resumes. 1000m will be short of his best however does tend to perform well first up. SELECTIONS: #3 Tactical Advantage for the win from #2 and #1.

Beaudesert: Race 6 @ 4:32pm

SHARPAMAL resumed with a good run when beaten just a head after the rider lost the whip. Fitter and from a low draw will take running down here. JINX 'N' DRINX found best form at Gatton latest with an easy win. Will be fitter again and rates highly. Expected to go close again. SAYONARAMOSA is a former Victorian resuming for new yard. Looks suited this class and despite the wide gate will take running down. SELECTIONS: #4 Sharpamal is fitter and will go close from #7 and #5.

Naracoorte: Race 7 @ 4:40pm

TEMEYEZ is resuming and looks hard to hold out. Former Snowden galloper who is fitter for two trials for this yard and rates highly this company. Expected to go close. LITTLE HEATH is also resuming and returns with the blinkers on. Has good speed and will take catching despite the wide draw. RADIOLOGIST is a former NSW galloper having first run this area. Rates well and worth including despite the gate. FIRST REWARD is next best. SELECTIONS: #2 Temeyez can kick off for new yard with a win from #1 and #4.
