Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays for Australian TAB meetings on October 4.

Four TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Thursday at Gosford, Wangaratta, Townsville and Geraldton.

Wangaratta: Race 6 @ 4:00pm

EVIE MATILDA won the Maiden easily here FU and then just missed this grade at Sale. Should cross okay to the speed and can bounce back. REIGNING IN PARIS gets back to the grass and is knocking on the door. He will get every chance from the rail. HIGH SUPPOSE peaks and gets her chance. KUGELBLITZ resumes and is up to this. Gets Walker and keep safe. SELECTIONS: # 8 Evie Matilda appeals off the career peak.

Townsville: Race 3 @ 2:40pm

Even tempo anticipated. HOT SHOT HARRY resumed in good order with a win at Cairns before going on to place in his two runs since. Fourth up now expect him to be ready to fire and he looks the one to beat. METEOR STORM finished last campaign with a win and has come back with three fourth placings. Goes well at the course and shapes up as the main danger in this. BEAU JET is a long time between wins but has been fairly consistent in recent times and would not be surprised to see him in the mix. SELECTIONS: Hot Shot Harry for the win.
