Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for October 15.

Echuca: Race 5 @ 3.30pm

GRAND CHALLENGE finished off last campaign with a win at last run as a juvenile and can run well here fresh. Rates highly and drawn for a good run off the hot speed. Will be finishing on hard. DENNIS is a model of consistency and looks the biggest danger. Back in class and will give a huge sight. FUNDING is long overdue having placed at three of last four. Looks a strong each way chance here. ROYAL PEGASUS has been going along well and is also overdue for another win. Rates strongly and will be in this for a long way. SELECTIONS: #6 Grand Challenge will be hard to hold out from #1 and #3.

Toowoomba: Race 3 @ 1.45pm (AEDT)

DREAMSCOPE won as favourite here two back. Not beaten far at the Gold Coast last start. Unbeaten here from two runs. Maps to potentially get a soft lead. Hard to beat. GREYWOLF won at this course and distance two back. Solid at Ipswich last start however now returns to Toowoomba where his trainer is a force to be reckoned with. PRECIPITATE has been solid in her two runs back from a spell. Should be hitting her straps third up. SELECTIONS: Backing #1 Dreamscope to win from #3 and #4.

Orange: Race 5 @ 3:50pm

TONY'S REWARD is racing in a rich vein of form. Knocked off as a short favourite at Bathurst last start but did lump the 62.5kg. Stable apprentice Overmeire goes on and with slight weight relief can make it up to the punters. Doesn't want rain but is back in trip a touch. PRINCE PLANET pinched a highway placing at 20-1 two starts back. Proved that was no fluke most recently when a length from the winner at Hawkesbury. Going well and won't know himself after the 4kg claim. SELECTIONS: #2 Tony's Reward can hit back hard and win from #7.
