Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays for Australian TAB meetings on October 24.

Six TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Wednesday at Warwick Farm, Geelong, Ipswich, Ascot, Oakbank and Launceston.

Geelong: Race 8 @ 4:40pm

In Good Time will be there with the blinkers on and Aeecee Tong De will be pressing. Strong tempo expected. LEATHER'N'LACE was has been close up in her latest couple with the form looking to stack up really well here. She draws low and think that can keep her closer to the pace and the expected strong gallop will work well for her. COOL PASSION comes through the same race where she was just fair. Ran really well first up and should go more room this time drawn away from the fence. IN GOOD TIME ran really well there and gets the blinkers now. She will in the race for along way. Split Lip may improve with blinkers going on.

Oakbank: Race 3 @ 3:00pm

STAGHORN has come back in good order and finally draws a low gate. Fitter and this looks very suitable and expect the rise in trip to suit. POLAR VORTEX can sit handier here and the last two are better than they look. Was wide last time in a race that’s produced five winners. AMBER ALERT is up from the south east and has been okay since the win three back. MADNESS INVALENCIA will run them along with the 3kg claim and the Maiden win two back stacks up. SELECTIONS: Competitive but # 3 Staghorn represents some value and gets a form hoop back on.

Warwick Farm: Race 5 @ 4:30pm

CAMPARI commenced her time in Australia with a maiden win at Gosford. Produced the win first up off a generous break over an unsuitable distance. Will have taken benefit from the run and suspect she has plenty more up the sleeve. ANDAZ was finding the line well last start at this course with the Blinkers applied for the first time. Something of a non winner but that gear change can perhaps help him turn a corner. WATCHDOG has been ridden positively in his two runs back from a spell and the result of that has been two strong displays at the provincials. Fitter again and can take another step through the grades. SELECTIONS: Win bet #6 Campari from #5 and #4.

Ipswich: Race 9 @ 6:10pm (AEDT)

BEAU ARROW tasted defeat for the first time last start but pulled up lame so that is worth forgiving. Had won his first three including both visits to this course. In well after the claim. Can hit back. AMORITA is a promising filly who made it two wins from her past three when resuming at this course. Fitter second up and has plenty of upside. COOL DRAFTS is also racing in good form. Rates highly. SELECTIONS: Giving #1 Beau Arrow another chance. Backing to win from #11 and 10.
