Eight TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Friday at Bathurst, Canterbury, Scone, Echuca, Moonee Valley, Gatton, Sunshine Coast and Gawler.

Moonee Valley: Race 7 @ 9:30pm

Speed will be on here. Invincible Star goes quickly with Houtzen and Sunlight prominent and Jungle Edge goes from the outset. U S NAVY FLAG didn't fire a shot in the Everest on very heavy ground. That doesn't suit him. Back onto a firmer surface today suits. July Cup winner in the UK and has shown that he can thrive on racing over there. Draws to be in the right spot. KEMENTARI might need a slice of luck from his draw but he looms as a danger freshened up and back to 1200m after just paddling at the end of the mile last time. Will be charging late. SPIRIT OF VALOR will be coming with him. Thought his first Australian run was a cracker and 1200m suits better. Respect Houtzen who had no luck in the Moir. SELECTIONS: Backing U S Navy Flag.

Echuca: Race 3 @ 1:35pm

SINGLE HANDED had support and not much luck FU. Missed nose three back on debut at Ballarat and can make sharp improvement with Meech up. GREY HONOR resumes off a couple of placings. Expect him to race handy and come back improved. THE SHUFFLER has gone close a couple of times on the synthetic. He will use the handy gate and isn’t out of it. DILOCHTA will clear the gate and is going well enough to fill a spot as is SOUTH ARBOUR.SELECTIONS: # 7 Single Handed gets his chance.

Scone: Race 8 @ 5:35pm

Speed right across the track. Deep race to end the day. EDNABLUE has returned in good form this time in. Led until the shadows at Wyong last start behind Southern Lad. Expect her to cross to the fence given her exceptional speed and she looks mighty hard to beat. Been here once previously and was never going to be caught, here's hoping the same can happen today. MAUI PRINCESS has put two together. Back to 1100m against some speed machines is a slightly different set-up but hard to knock. IBINI goes well fresh and has the benefit of the inside draw. SELECTIONS: Ednablue to end the program.

Gawler: Race 8 @ 7:10pm

MAGIC BOY won FU and then just missed in the Listed Murray Bridge Cup. Better for that and can bounce with Kah going on. She’s striking at 56% for the Clarken yard off 16 rides. ARKHAM KNIGHT just missed in town off the Penny Edition Stakes and the form overall is very strong. Needs a good ride but should be right in it. LADY SILHOUETTE won the 90 2U and has more to give off that. SELECTIONS: # 6 Magic Boy to win the Cup of the strong career peak.

Canterbury: Race 4 @ 7:45pm

Danzie and Destiny's Own should control the race from barriers 1 and 2 respectively. DESTINY'S OWN has placed in each of his two runs back from a spell, the latest over 1400m at Warwick Farm. Should be fitter third up. Both career wins to date have come at this course. Can build on that record here. DANZIE comes out of the same race where he finished fourth. Inclined to give another chance based on his first two runs this prep. OMINECA was held up for a run in the straight when fourth on the Kensington last start. Watch for him late. ARRAIGNMENT on the short turnaround also worth thought. Drops in grade and gets back on firmer footing. SELECTIONS: Looks a case of third time lucky this prep for #4 Destiny's Own. Back accordingly from #5, #1 and #2.

Sunshine Coast: Race 6 @ 8.23pm (AEDT)

CALZINI led and powered away to beat her rivals by more than 6L when resuming last start. That was just her second career outing so looks to have untapped potential. Can go through her grades. TIPPING showed ability at her maiden campaign including a Gold Coast win on debut. Likely to have improved with maturity and can go well fresh again. SIENNA ROSE resumes after taking on stakes grade. Can measure up to these. HARDLY TOUCHED has claims off a resuming win. SELECTIONS: #8 Calzini to win again after bolting in last start from #7 and #9.
