Favourite Galaxy Star joined in at the 150m then bounded clear for win nine, (her maiden stakes win), from just 12 career starts. She has yet to finish worse than second. She dwelt at the start then settled second last, remaining there past the 600m one off the fence. Jockey William Pike waited until the 400m before moving forward and rounding into straight was four deep but cruising. She needed little urging, joined in at the 150m then booted clear for the easiest of wins. Action was last all the way to the 400m, caught the field and followed his winning stablemate into the straight then ran on well to clinch second with 50m to run but was no match for the winner. War God was second turning in and battled fairly for third from Disposition who had every chance next to the fence in the run home.
