Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays for Australian TAB meetings on November 14.
Six TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Wednesday at Hawkesbury, Bendigo, Ipswich, Bunbury, Murray Bridge and Launceston.
Hawkesbury: Race 8 @ 5:30pm
Small field and race loses any anticipated early pace due to the scratching of Hostwin Epanoui. DEVIL'S LAIR has improved with each run this prep. Not beaten far when third at this course six days ago. Strikes an easier race here and should be at his peak fourth run from a spell. ON ANGELS WINGS steps back up in trip after a one paced effort here over 1500m. Was looking good in his two prior outings here over 1800m. MOMENTUM TO WIN drops in grade. Has looked a couple of lengths short racing at city level. Better suited back amongst this sort of company. HAPPY PARTNER honest and is worth throwing into multiples. SELECTIONS: Devil's Lair has a sense of timing about him. Back accordingly.

Bendigo: Race 1 @ 1:00pm
No exposed pace engaged here. Tactics will be interesting. FIFTYONESTATES zipped home nicely last time in what was clearly her best effort to date. May be able to hold a position from barrier one today and certainly ready to mount a strong winning challenge on the evidence of latest. DUNMAM has been right around the mark in all three runs to this point and looks a key contender again today. SUBURBIA should be running well having closed nicely last time. No early pace from what we have seen from him so how this works out for him will be key.SELECTIONS: Backing Fiftyonestates to relish the step out to the mile.
Gawler: Race 4 @ 5:35pm
SO INTELLIGENT is fast and ready to win. Missed a nose 3U at Oakbank and that stacks right up. JOHN THE RODENT didn’t have the best of it last time off the near miss this venue and is a chance racing handy. CROWN HARMONIUM will be improved 3U. MEADOWS LASSIE resumes and a good return won’t surprise. SELECTIONS: # 13 So Intelligent can win off the peak at the bottom of the weights.
Ipswich: Race 8 @ 5:50pm (AEDT)
UNLIKELY STORY ran on well and didn't miss by much when resuming. Won his only previous second up run so should be improved and his lone career win came at this trip so the step up suits. Big chance with blinkers on. THE REAL BOSS deserved his win last start on the back of consistent form. He is racing well and can be in it for a long way. WIRNPA has claims third up off a last-start placing. SELECTIONS: Backing #6 Unlikely Story for the win second up from #3 and #4.
Launceston: Race 7 @ 10:00pm
Not seeing a great deal of early pace engaged. SPEEDONOVA resumes. Three start winter prep was short but sweet, recording two wins and a placing from three runs on the synthetic. Unbeaten in two prior first up outings and is also a dual winner at the course. McCoull riding from barrier 1 are additional positives. Hard to go past. AXION won on resuming. Has placed in his two subsequent runs. Has finished out of the money just once in 12 runs at this course. ROUGEAU the best of the rest. SELECTIONS: #1 Speedonova should take beating in the last. Back accordingly from #2.
