Arcadia Queen was rewarded with her maiden stakes win, drawing away late for her third overall from four starts. She dwelt at the start then ran up in behind the leading group to sit third before striking trouble at the 1300m, forcing her back to fifth. Jockey Chris Parnham held her one off the fence, improved to fourth at the 400m, found room at the 200m and went after the leader. She levelled up inside the 100m then drew clear for an impressive win. Lady Cosmology took the lead early, maintained the lead around the last corner and tried to break clear then was caught inside the 100m yet held on well for second. The first two were well clear. Leading Girl sat second at the 400m, challenged the leader but couldn't go on with it, battling on for a distant third. Flirtini sat third, three wide turning in but found nothing in the run home.
