Seven TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Wednesday at Warwick Farm, Echuca, Sandown, Ipswich, Bunbury, Gawler and Launceston.

Warwick Farm: Race 3 @ 3:05pm

Thunder Pace the obvious leader. ZOUOLOGIST has placed in each of his two career outings to date. Showed good improvement on his debut when third at Canterbury last start. Can improve again at career start three out to 1400m with Winkers applied for the first time. NOBU resumes. Struck some handy ones through his three start maiden campaign during the winter. Has been given time to mature and has been gelded. Kicks off in what profiles as his easiest career assignment to date. ESTROVERTO resumes. Two run maiden prep late last season possessed merit. Watch betting and parade rings regarding WORD FOR WORD on debut. SELECTIONS: #1 Zouologist for the win from #5, #4 and #7.

Echuca: Race 5 @ 2:40pm

SOUTH ARBOR will use the low gate and won the Maiden here before finishing close-up the two since. Finds easier and is the one they have to beat at the mile. NO TAN TAT was on speed and much better at Cranbourne. Draws handy and is a live hope if she holds that. MYWORDSAIDTHEBIRD is in the mix with the 3kg claim forgiving the latest. BROCCOLO improved to win the latest and also deserves consideration. SELECTIONS: # 3 South Arbor is suited around here and can build on the career peak.

Gawler: Race 6 @ 5:30pm (AEDT)

AVALON DOWNS is racing well this campaign with a win and a third, both at this course and distance. Has won three of four third up runs and hasn't missed a place here. Can find the right position from a good draw. ANAMNESIS was placed at Clare last time. Three-time winner at this distance and has scored at this course before. FUTAGO races well fresh and should be ready to go first up off a trial win. PARTY SET has been freshened since winning her past three. Must respect. SELECTIONS: Avalon Downs can add to his strong third-up record. Has each way appeal.

Ipswich: Race 9 @ 5:53pm (AEDT)

KATHMANDU has raced just twice for Tony Gollan and followed a close second at Sunshine Coast with a strong win at this course over a similar distance last time. Has the ratings to win again. CRUZ DE VEGA took her strike rate to 50 per cent with a last-start win at Sunshine Coast. Won her only previous third up run so should be peaking and has upside. BRYNEICH has been racing at Doomben including a win there two back. Suited at this level. SELECTIONS: Backing #7 Kathmandu to win again with #8 and #1 in exotics.

Sandown: Race 5 @ 5:45pm

LAURE ME IN has been very good in both starts this time in, finishing second at both attempts at Morphettville. That form measures right up here and he is sure to appreciate the step up in trip. Should look to settle closer to the speed and shapes as one of the hardest to beat. KAZIO caught the eye late first up when finishing a close second at Bendigo over 1300m. Open to good improvement off the back of that effort and looms as a major threat. Last start winner FAST PLAN the next in line. SELECTIONS: Very keen on #5 Laure Me In racing third up.

Launceston: Race 2 @ 7:05pm

Bunker Star and Toricain prominent. BORDER PROTECTION resumed with a second at this course and class over 1200m. Ran above market expectations on that occasion however will no doubt have a lot more respect here. Looks the goods in this second up and out to 1400m. THEWORDSOUT has been thereabouts in his past couple of runs. Should be peaking fourth up and gets Newitt in the saddle. TALE OF THE FOX resumes off a generous spell. Lone career win came in a prior first up outing. Well drawn and won a Longford trial in readiness. CAPE CARDINAL finally got his maiden out of the way at this course and distance last start. Could be a case of the floodgates opening. SELECTIONS: #5 Border Protection straight out from #4, #1 and #8.

Bunbury: Race 6 @ 7:30pm (AEDT)

STORMY ORA followed up on her impressive win fresh when again too good at this track last start. Returned a new career peak on that occasion and remains open to further improvement racing third up. Drawn to receive all the favours and should prove very hard to beat. KENTOO mixed his form last time in, but he is certainly more than capable when right and looms as a major threat in his return. TRIPELETTO wasn't far off the mark first up and appears the next in line. SELECTIONS: No reason to jump off #5 Stormy Ora, she is airborne.
