Gold Coast: Race 6 @ 3.35pm (AEDT)

MANICURE is a lightly-raced but progressive mare who did a great job to score a resuming win in a Listed raced at Doomben. Races well second up with a win and a placing from two attempts. Has good upside and rates as a strong winning chance again. IRITHEA is racing well having missed by a nose at Listed level last start following a Rosehill win. Back in trip but has performed well at this distance range. INVINCIBELLA made some late ground behind Manicure when back from a let-up. That will have brought her on and she won this race last year. PROBLEM SOLVER was only beaten 3L in a Listed race at Randwick last time following a Wyong win. Has claims. SELECTIONS: #5 Manicure is progressive. Backing to win again from #6 and #1.

Randwick: Race 3 @ 2:05pm

SIKHING GLORY has placed in each of his three runs back from a spell. Has always been a consistent customer. Should be peaking fourth up and is yet to run out of the money through eight starts when partnered by Jay Ford. TANIKO won two back and was fair last start when closing for a fourth at this course, class and distance. Has looked good since the Blinkers were applied at Canterbury. CATESBY has been performing well for his new stable. Also thought the stable debuts of GHOSTLY and PUMPKIN PIE were also solid enough. SELECTIONS: Going with #4 Sikhing Glory each way from #10 and #1.

Flemington: Race 5 @ 2.53pm

MASCULINO toughed it out and won well here two back before being outsprinted in a slowly run race here last time. Potential for this to be slowly run as well but he links back up with the jock that has had most success on him and he has the option to roll and force his own speed. AGE OF FIRE has been slowly building this campaign. Getting fitter and finding his form. Good horse when right and the blinkers go on now which looks a sign on intent. BEAUTY WAY should race well and like Second Bullet he is capable of racing on speed. SELECTIONS: #3 Masculino has the form to beat these. #1 Age Of Fire the saver.

Gawler: Race 6 @ 6.15pm (AEDT)

STRING THEORY raced away for an impressive win when making her debut over a mile at Morphettville. She should only be improved by that and Kah sticks. Rates highly. EMPIRE LEGEND broke through for a maiden win at Cranbourne last start after finishing runner up at his previous two in Victoria. Lightly-raced gelding with good upside. POLAR VORTEX is very consistent with five successive placings since an Oakbank win. Must include. CAUSE WE CAN won her maiden last start and could progress third up. COMFORT MAN can be included off a debut win at this track and trip. SELECTIONS: #12 String Theory is promising. Backing to win again from #7 and #1.

Pinjarra: Race 7 @ 7.25pm (AEDT)

VITAL SILVER won well fresh before taking a good step forward last start when too strong on-speed at Ascot over 1400m. Returned a new career peak on that occasion and appears well placed at the weights. Drawn to get a lovely run and should be in this for a long way. Hard to beat. RED ARMY will likely give them too big a start from the wide draw, but is sure to be hitting the line hard late. WESTERN TEMPLE has trialled well in the lead up and with Pike booked he appears the next in line. SELECTIONS: Very keen on #11 Vital Silver from #3 and #8.
