Winx is available at odds of $1.25 to win her 30th successive race in the Apollo Stakes at Randwick on February 16.

TAB posted a pre nominations market for the Apollo Stakes after Winx performed soundly in a barrier trial at Rosehill on Tuesday morning, finishing seventh.

It will be the first time Winx has raced since claiming her historic fourth Cox Plate win at Moonee Valley last October.

“Winx has already won the Apollo Stakes twice (2016 and 2017) so it is hardly surprising that she has opened $1.25 to stretch her winning streak to 30 races,” said TAB spokesman Gerard Middleton.

“One punter has already placed a $4000 wager at $1.25 on the queen of the turf.”

Winx’s stablemate The Autumn Sun is currently the $8 second elect for the Apollo Stakes while dual G1 winner Alizee, third in the same trial as Winx on Tuesday, is on the third line of betting at $11.
