Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays for Australian TAB meetings on February 15.
Seven TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Friday at Canterbury, Grafton, Quirindi, Donald, Moonee Valley, Ipswich & Esperance.
Moonee Valley: Race 3 @ 9:00pm
INDIAN THUNDER has been racing well and rates strongly here. Just missed in a three way drive in this class latest and looks suited now at the mile. Drawn for a sweet run and should go close. INTUERI is a last start winner by a space. At peak and can go on with it. SABOTAGE is close to a win while SACRED THEME is racing well. The query runner is the import HUMBOLT CURRENT who makes Australian debut. Has two of three career wins at a mile so worth watching the betting here. SELECTIONS: Indian Thunder is drawn for a sweet trail.

Quirindi: Race 5 @ 3:40pm
LUNA MIA chimed in late and finished just a length adrift in 2nd place on debut over 1100m at Scone last start. Blinkers applied today to sharpen her up - just needs luck from a poor gate to be going one better. The danger is HARBOURING who led everywhere except the line on debut over 900m at Scone. The big question is whether he can extend the brilliance a further 300m but if so will be tough to reel in. First starter NITRO STAR won a recent Dubbo trial in fine style so from a good gate looks well-placed to run boldly. KENNYWYN for the exotics. SELECTIONS: #4 Luna Mia to win.
Ipswich: Race 5 @ 4:27pm
CORAL COAST is an ex Victorian and resumes for the Vandyke yard. She has trialled well and Lloyd sticks from that. She had been racing well in stronger races over further and expect her to be wound right up for this. SIZZLED brings solid NSW form for a new yard and will use the low gate. Has had only a month away and the colt should go well. MY BELLY BUTTON won the Maiden here and has placed twice since after slow offs. Was favourite in better grade the latest and has claims. JESSINA will be better for the FU run and has more to give. Draws handy and Fradd rides first time. SELECTIONS: Hard to get away from the shorties today. # 5 Coral Coast may be the best of them. Has a ratings edge and the early markets suggest she’s ready.
Donald: Race 8 @ 5:00pm
RODDANDTODD is overdue and should go close here. Back in grade on last couple and gets chance to return to winning form. Rates strongly. STREET STYLE was a fresh up winner when coming home hard over 1100m. Fitter and extra trip a plus. Can go on with it. ALUF is overdue and rates a strong winning chance. Drawn perfectly and will take catching. ROAR who resumes for new yard as a gelding and is fitter for two trials. SELECTIONS: Roddandtodd looks hard to beat this easier class.
Esperance Race 1 @ 5:11pm
BARRY'S RABBIT made the hat-trick and after didn’t miss by much placing behind Heaven’s Gate running favourite. Hard to go past in his current form with a weight drop. RHINO BUSTER won this grade at the mile and then was beaten 2.6L at Albany in Open grade up to this trip. Gets the big weight but the on-pacer will be better for that run and is feared. THIDWICK THE MOOSE hasn’t been racing at his best but now has the run this trip under the belt. A much better effort wouldn’t surprise. SELECTIONS: Leaning to #3 Barry’s Rabbit.
