Peter and Paul Snowden-trained filly Anaheed, who was having her second run this preparation and her third race start, impressed in recording her first Group success here. She was smartly away and settled outside the leader (Kiamichi) at a good tempo. She got to the front at the 300m and went on to score a really good win. Chris Waller-trained filly Still Single settled in seventh place on the rails, got between runners on turning for home, went to third nearing the 100m and fought on well for second. Bjorn Baker-trained Let It Pour raced in fifth place between runners, went to third at the 200m and kept battling on well to hold that position in a promising effort on debut, with the leader Kiamichi holding on for (2.5 lengths) fourth.
