Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays for Australian TAB meetings on March 6.
Six TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Wednesday at Kensington, Bendigo, Doomben, Bunbury, Murray Bridge & Darwin.
Kensington: Race 4 @ 3.10pm
KYLEASE started at a very short quote last start and easily accounted for a subsequent winner over 1100m at Gosford. Flying filly who has to extend her brilliance an extra 150m today but trust Joe Pride who always places his runners very well. I'M SO SWEET worked home in good style without threatening last time out to finish runner-up over 1000m at this track. Fitter today second up from a spell and is a winner at this trip so if the top pick is vulnerable she can pounce. SUNDARBANS did a good job to finish 3rd under a big weight when resuming recently over this distance at Canterbury. Gets a little weight relief today and the blinkers go on so she is sure to be competitive. CRISTOBAL and DIVINE BREEZE are other hopes. SELECTIONS: #8 Kylease to win again.

Murray Bridge: Race 5 @ 3:35pm
Good Nic and Sun Peaks may run them along. FRENCH RESPONSE (9) just missed as favourite at Strathalbyn at her second run when up to this trip. Gets the blinkers first time and rates to break through with Holder sticking. ADOZENROSES (8) has had good support both runs back and can improve enough to be a genuine chance. HAVANA DEEJAY (6) raced over a trip LS and flopped as favourite. Has to come back 600m but looks better suited and 3U the Victorian needs to be kept very safe. ON FIRE (10) draws low and will also be fitter. She can show more today. SELECTIONS : #9 French Response ticks most boxes.
Bendigo: Race 6 @ 5:40pm
Interesting race with a few former UK gallopers engaged. KACHING (3) however looks the one to beat. Placed at last two and well placed this company. Nicely drawn and gets chance when many of these won't be ready. MACLAIREY (17) won two on end before finishing midfield in tougher latest. Back a few notches and can bounce back. BELGRAVIA (2) is a former UK galloper who has had two Australian runs last campaign and performed pretty well. Can sneak into the finish fresh. Stablemates SIRKOS (10) and DIALECTIC (12) are both former French gallopers, both lightly raced but with great records, and both gelded since last seen. Watch closely for a future standpoint. SELECTIONS: Kaching gets chance. Maclairey looks the danger.
Doomben: Race 8 @ 6:27pm
VERANES (11) was slow off but recovered to win the GC Maiden comfortably FU for Waller. The filly will have come on from that and no surprise if she wins again from the nice gate. BUCK BAY (2) is ex Darren Weir and resumes for the Edmonds yard. He’s looked extra sharp at the trials and expect a bold run despite the wide gate. SPEEDGUN (9) won the Maiden and then made the quinella this grade. Races handy and looks right in it. DREAM KISSES (3) resumes for Gollan and the early markets suggest she will go well with the 3kg claimer engaged. SELECTIONS: Competitive but siding with # 11 Veranes each way. Wary Buck Bay.
