Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays for Australian TAB meetings on March 15.
Six TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Friday at Kembla Grange, Taree, Sale, Moonee Valley (night), Bowen & Sunshine Coast (night)
Kembla Grange: Race 5 @ 3:40pm
Tootz the likely leader. COLOMBINA (5) was strong to the line first up at Hawkesbury last start. Will be fitter for the run and should be much better suited up to 1200m. Lone career win came in her lone start on rain affected ground. Expected to take beating. TOOTZ (8) drops back in grade after two solid efforts at Canterbury. Fitter again and has won third up in the past. Record on rain affected ground also strong. SEGALAS (10) was fair first up at Wyong. Looks a good Plan B for the Cummings stable behind Colombina. SELECTIONS: Colombina straight out.

Sale: Race 7 @ 4:30pm
SHE'S SENSATIONAL (2) is ready to win after two runs in. Was a fast finishing second over 1450m latest and although against the older horses here will go close. POPPI ROX (12) has been thereabouts including a last start fourth in the same race as She's Sensational. Nice weight and looks tough to hold out here. INTERNSHIP (5) was wide throughout and not far away last time. Drawn wide and might even push forward. Rates well here though and worth including. ALI ORPHAN (7) is better than recent efforts. IMMELMANN (1) can run a race fresh. SELECTIONS: She's Sensational the one to beat.
Bowen: Race 5 @ 5:05pm
EMBERSPEED (5) was fractious at the gates but managed to come hard from the back to make the double at Mackay. On weights and measures he can be too good again over the longer trip. ROSCOMMON (6) can box seat and got the blinkers again winning well here 13 days ago. Keeps improving and is a chance to repeat. POINT FORWARD (2) gets Butler today and expect him to push forward. Was wide the latest but the previous stack right up. LIGHT UP VEGAS (8) is also a chance. SELECTIONS: Emberspeed keeps improving and can make the hat-trick.
Moonee Valley Race 7 @ 9:30pm
GLOBAL EXCHANGE (3) has won both runs back easily with the latest at Caulfield this grade. Sits back and comes hard and the extra trip suits. He will be very hard to roll. STARS OF CARRUM (1) will be better for the three runs back in strong contests. Was just beaten in the Victorian Derby in November and is ready for the middle distance. COSSETOT (2) continues to race well and made the quinella behind Global Exchange the latest. Likely to be better for that. DECLARES WAR (4) was okay in the same race and can make the finish with a good ride. SELECTIONS Keen on #3 Global Exchange.
Sunshine Coast: Race 7 @ 10:15pm
USMANOV (4) has been scratched from the previous race and is well-placed. Was sharp the first campaign and owns a GC trial win. Lloyd sticks from that and she should be winning drawn handy. DON'T YOU KNOW HIM (5) resumes for Gollan with gear changes and goes well fresh. Has won a Deagon trial and keep very safe. NAVY (2) resumes off a 70 win on the Randwick Kensington in much stronger. He’s sharp fresh and is a genuine hope. DUKE OF FREDERICK (6) is going well enough to fill a spot.SELECTIONS #4 Usmanov will take plenty of beating.
