Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays for Australian TAB meetings on April 16.
Four TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Tuesday at Hawkesbury, Bendigo, Mackay & Kalgoorlie.
Bendigo: Race 6 @ 4:00pm
Atlantica can lead from Girls Got Spirit and Mossbelle. MOSSBELLE (5) runs along and has been good the last two at the Valley. They stack right up and she gets her chance following a brief freshen drawn low . TRILLI (9) resumes and can win this at best. Was last seen in a G3 and expect her to be hitting the line with the trial under the belt. CHALCIDIAN (3) won the 64 big at Donald and keeps getting better. Uses the rail and is a hope. NEUROTIC (8) won well first up and can build on that drawn handy. SELECTIONS: #5 Mossbelle looks a bet at the e/w quote.

Hawkesbury: Race 5 @ 3:15pm
Plenty of early pace here but Farstar can burn them all off. CHILLED ROSE (5) found the right race last start and easily won her maiden over this course and distance. Returned a nice rating that day and if she holds the form can win again. LAGARDE (9) appreciated the 46-day let-up and a sharp drop in grade last time out when an easy maiden winner at Orange over 1000m. Placed 9/11 prior to that so with confidence high she looks sure to be about the mark as usual. GREAT AFFAIR (2) lined up for just the second time when a tough maiden winner over 1000m at Gosford recently. Drawn well and has plenty of scope for improvement. DIZZY MISS LIZZY (10) went close first up and looks a trifecta chance. SELECTIONS: #5 Chilled Rose is perfectly placed again - confident win bet.
Mackay Race 5 @ 4:10pm
Bold Aurora and Gohan look the speed. BOLD AURORA (1) posted a strong figure winning on debut at the Gold Coast and then led again resuming off a very long break at the Sunshine Coast and will be better for it. Gets the in-form Wiggins today and will take beating. LEGAL TIES (2) finds easier grade and is better then the form reads. Gets the handy gate and claim and expect and improved run. AMRON (7) gets the rail and missed a lip in Maidens third up. That puts him in the frame. GOHAN (6) draws to advantage with a claim and is also in the mix. SELECTIONS: # 1 Bold Aurora looks suited.
