Wagga: Race 7 @ 4.10pm

Expecting a truly run Cup with Taikomochi leading the way. ABDON (4) missed the kick and settled further back than preferred before making good late ground to finish 5th in the G3 JRA Plate over this trip at Randwick last start. Looks well in on 54.5kgs and is ready to peak after three runs back from a spell. TAIKOMOCHI (2) led in the JRA Plate but couldn't sustain the pressure and just missed a place. Another who will be peaking for this and Hyeronimus on a front runner is an appealing prospect. MORTON'S FORK (3) was a better run last time to finish 3rd in the Easter Cup over this trip at Caulfield. Distance specialist who looks ready now after a slow start to the prep. Last start winner DARK EYES (6) for the exotics. SELECTIONS: #4 Abdon is progressing nicely this prep and will be peaking today.

Muswellbrook: Race 3 @ 1.20pm

Carlton Star will probably cross and lead but there doesn't look to be much pressure on paper. The lightly raced SHEERAN (2) really found the line last start when runner up over this course and distance. Continues to improve and from gate two at his third run of the prep he looks poised to break the ice. LITTLE ARCHIE (4) got back and didn't recover last start in an unsuitably short 1000m maiden at Scone. Races well here and looking for this trip now. POLISH TRAIN (12) has been run off his legs in two 1000m races since resuming. On a five-day back up and crying out for this sort of journey. BUGALUGS (7) ran a good race at odds last time and is not out of the equation. SELECTIONS: Keen on #2 Sheeran to open his account.

Gatton: Race 4 @ 2:40pm

Airino can cross over and lead and there’s plenty of speed behind. AIRINO (1) was wide on the bunny placing at the Gold Coast first-up. The ex Victorian finds easier grade and just needs a good ride from the 3kg claimer to win. EVAMAC (9) resumes and brings good form from stronger. She’s also a first up winner and is a chance in this company. REMEMBER MARY (5) resumes off two placings and goes well first-up. She can make the finish with a good ride. MAGINOT LINE (3) is another resumer and should be around the mark.SELECTIONS: #1 Airino should be winning despite the wide gate.

Cranbourne Race 7 @ 9:00pm

Nicci By Name and Our Campana can make the speed. SUNRISE DANCER (12) brings strong form and just missed the latest as favourite. Needs to find a good spot but expect her to have these covered. VIVI VALENTINA (1) deserved the win and then was okay at Sandown in stronger than this. She will use the rail and is a chance with the handy claim. OUR CAMPANA (5) won the Maiden well third-up as expected. Has the manage the wide gate but she has upside. Was a big Maiden winner resuming and then was out-graded at Caulfield. Peaks now and no surprise if he's right in the finish. SELECTIONS: Keen on #12 Sunrise Dancer.
