Six TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Wednesday at Canterbury, Sandown, Gold Coast, Ascot, Balaklava & Canberra.

Gold Coast: Race 5 @ 2:12pm

They will be low-flying here with Arrow Express and Stellar Power leading the charge. ARROW EXPRESS (5) is flying at present winning her last two starts, both over 860m at Gatton, by wide margins. Boasts an outstanding record at this sort of trip and should jump, run, and prove tough to run down. STELLAR POWER (7) first up from a 37-week spell can threaten. Best effort last prep was a comprehensive win over this course and distance under 59kgs. Fresh record is okay and drawn ideally. WIRNPA (2) has won 2/4 when fresh and is another with definite claims first up from a spell. Should enjoy a lovely run out of gate four. DOOM (10) out of the inside alley is an each-way chance first up. SELECTIONS: The speedy #5 Arrow Express to run them ragged.

Canterbury: Race 3 @ 2.05pm

Sedgemoor and Betty Blooms have very good gate speed and will set up a slick tempo. SEDGEMOOR (4) had one run for Godolphin last July, leading until the final bounds over 1200m at Kembla. Has been gelded subsequently and trialled very well at Randwick recently so looks ready for a bright return. BETTY BLOOMS (5) is also first up since debuting in October at Warwick Farm when a very close 2nd after leading. Placed in a Randwick trial on 26 April and will give the top pick plenty to think about. TAPICONIC (3) settled back then worked home well to grab 2nd over 1350m at Wyong last time out. Blinkers on today so can improve sharply. KNOWITALL JACK (2) first up must be respected with McDonald up. SELECTIONS Keen on #4 Sedgemoor to open his account.

Canberra: Race 4 @ 2:23pm

Jeddah Aheadah will be prominent from the jump. JEDDAH AHEADAH (6) improved again third-up when beaten a nose here at this trip on the slow track after being wide. Impressed in that and can go one better racing handy with the weight drop. RED MY MIND (2) improved to place here the latest in a 55. Draws well and gets the winkers first time and expect them to make a difference. GLAMARAMA GIRL (9) posted a good figure two back winning the Nowra Maiden by 4L. Draws low and races as if the middle distance will suit. SELECTIONS: #6 Jeddah Aheadah is tough and deserves the win.

Sandown: Race 5 @ 2:50pm

VANUATU (9) wasn't far away in stakes class latest and looks ideally placed here to bounce back. Winner the start prior and ran very well at only try this course. Go close. JUNGLE FISH (2) covered plenty of ground but made little impact on the heavy in stakes class in Sydney latest. Rates highly and can do much better. ICE GIRL (3) just missed this class latest and very good winning record here. Rates strongly. ALMALITA (1) will be better over further but has placed 3/4 fresh so looks a definite each way hope. SHROUDED IN MIST (4) has won second up and this is easier. Worth including. SELECTIONS: Vanuatu can bounce back.

Balaklava: Race 7 @ 4:30pm

Madness Invalencia looks the one to lead. INDRABEEL (3) brought strong form to the resumption this trip and was much to good for the 60 graders. She gets a handy claim again and is the one to beat again. CANFORD (1) resumes and is up to this at best. He’s a first-up winner who has trialled in town and drawn low expect a bold run. LA LA LUCHIE (4) disappointed the latest but the previous runs in stronger stack right up. Keeps Clark and a bounce is on the cards. MASTER CHUM (2) has been running close-up without winning. Needs a good ride but gets the blinkers first time and looks well in the mix. SELECTIONS: #3 Indrabeel can go on with it for the McEvoy yard.
