Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays for Australian TAB meetings on May 14.
Four TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Tuesday at Kembla Grange, Tamworth, Sale & Mackay.
Kembla: Race 4 @ 2:35 pm
Good early speed from Uno That and Magic Search. UNO THAT (4) is a very honest gelding who won consecutive races over 1400m and 1500m here before leading and just failing to hold on last time out over 1600m at this track. On-pacer at the peak of his powers - will prove very tough to run down. BUDDEROO KNIGHT (5) has been easily accounted for in both runs this spell in town. Fitter now and getting out to a more suitable trip so look for sharp improvement back at the provincials. BROTHER IN ARMS (2) finished just behind Uno That last time and cannot be ruled out. DASHLEY DUBH (6) was a better run last start and will be peaking today. SELECTIONS: Like #4 Uno That - confident win bet.

Tamworth: Race 3 @ 1:05 pm
We will see a truly run mile here as Atomic Lass, Branui and Have A Go Joe lock horns early. GREENSKEEPER (5) was ridden closer to the pace last start and battled on strongly to finish 2nd over this distance at Taree. Cherry-ripe today after three runs back from a spell and with the blinkers on looks ready to win. HIGH FLIGHT (10) loomed up on the turn but found a couple better, including Greenskeeper, last time out at Taree over the mile. Still a maiden after 17 starts but makes each-way appeal based on that latest effort. BRANUI (8) was a better run last time to get up for 2nd over 1570m at Cessnock. In the mix with the light weight under today's scale. MARS ORBIT (3) can improve further as he gets out to the mile. SELECTIONS Confident win bet on #5 Greenskeeper.
Mackay: Race 7 @ 3:57pm
Bold Xavvi and El Shaday will be prominent from the jump. BOLD XAVVI (2) won the CL3 big and then missed a lip in Open grade again heavily backed. Finds easier and should be winning this. JACK LANCASTER (5) is racing well and is also back in grade. He will use the low gate and gets another chance. RED HOT ROMEO (6) peaks and also brings good form. He can be right in the finish with further improvement. EL SHADAY (7) resumes and is up to this at best. Keep safe at odds. SELECTIONS: Keen on #2 Bold Xavvi.
Sale: Race 7 @ 4:00pm
Doctor Coto can lead from Blazejowski. MOONLIGHT RUBY (2) ran his best races at the back of the last campaign and will be better for the first up run in town in stronger. He’s a promising galloper who has won second-up and will take beating. BLAZEJOWSKI (4) resumes and is a first-up winner who has trialled well. Expect a bold run back to easier. MISS MANDITO (9) resumes and brings strong form from city races. Rates well and will be ready to go. CAPANNELLO (7) also deserves consideration. SELECTIONS: #2 Moonlight Ruby has upside and is a bet at the each way odds.
