Arcadia Queen’s move to the Chris Waller stable has seen the Bob Peters-owned filly shorten dramatically for the TAB Everest and Golden Eagle.
Arcadia Queen was $26 and is now $11 for the TAB Everest at Randwick on October 19.
The three-year-old Pierro filly was $6 for the Golden Eagle and is now sharing favouritism with Brutal at $4.50 for the Golden Eagle at Rosehill on November 2.
“Arcadia Queen announced herself as a potential star during the Perth Masters last year when victorious in the WA Champion Fillies Stakes, WA Guineas and Kingston Town Stakes,” TAB’s Trent Langskaill said.
“After Bob Peters declared that he decided to look for someone with an Everest slot, Arcadia Queen’s price for the TAB Everest and inaugural Golden Eagle tightened sharply.”
The TAB slot holder for the Everest, five-time Group 1 winner Santa Ana Lane, is the $5 favourite for the world’s richest race on turf.
