Four TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Tuesday at Newcastle, Wellington, Pakenham & Townsville.

Newcastle: Race 2 @ 1:20pm

Plenty of early speed despite the small field, with Go Joyce Go prominent. RHYTHMIC PULSE (3) is the one to beat first up from a brief spell. Opened his last campaign with a devastating all-the-way win over 1008m at Port Macquarie, then went on to race very well in the 1100m-1300m range. Should take a sit over this shorter trip and prove too strong late. Also resuming with strong claims is CHICADILLY (2). Scored twice in her maiden prep over 1000m at Kembla, chalking up a particularly high rating in the second of those wins. Expect her to come up bigger and better this time around. GO JOYCE GO (5) returned from a lengthy spell recently with a game 4th over this distance at Cessnock, beaten under a length after showing plenty of early speed. Kept fresh and is a threat although facing tougher opposition today. STARISMO (1) went well first up and has to come into calculations.  SELECTIONS: #3 Rhythmic Pulse appeals while fresh.

Wellington: Race 1 @ 1:05pm

Strapping Conquest will use the inside gate to advantage and lead. This looks a nice race for STRAPPING CONQUEST (10) who was coming off a six-week break last start when unplaced over 900m at Muswellbrook. Began awkwardly that day but did well to rally in the straight before her run peaked close to home. Scratched from Gunnedah yesterday to be kept for this. G Ryan takes over, strips fitter, looks very tough to beat. Debutante GOLDEN AVENGER (2) is worth a look with the blinkers on. Wasn't knocked about in a recent Muswellbrook trial. WITNESS COLLECTOR (5) ran out of steam at the end of 1200m at Coonamble last time out. Can improve with the blinkers applied. One for trifecta/first four players. CHOSEN FATE (7) is another first starter to consider when taking exotics. SELECTIONS: Very keen on #10 Strapping Conquest to kick off the day.

Pakenham: Race 5 at 2:00pm

Oggalution and Regina Margherita will be prominent from the jump. SANSOM (8) won the Maiden here resuming running his best race. He impressed through the line and doubt he will finds this much harder. The one to beat. REGINA MARGHERITA (7) placed second-up on the Ballarat synthetic quickly back to form. He will use the low gate and should go close. BURLINGTON MISS (5) resumes off a good trial and is up to this at best. She draws low and might be more forward this time around. OGGALUTION (6) peaks now and may control the race. She has to be considered.  SELECTIONS: Keen on #8 Sansom.

Townsville: Race 6 @ 4:44pm

Plenty of speed with three or four capable of leading. CHAPEL ROAD (8) is ex Melbourne and returned for the new yard with a nose defeat this grade. He hasn’t won for a while but is suited in this company and no surprise if he goes one better. PLATINUM TYCOON (3) was sharp just missing at Atherton running easily his best race since coming back from Sydney. Gets a big weight drop including the allowance and has to be considered. KIRABO (6) led and was a big Open winner at Charters Towers and gets the winkers first time here. He can’t be ruled out. NATIONAL TRAIL (1) peaks and will be around the mark. SELECTIONS: #8 Chapel Road wins at best.
