Tasmanian mare Mystic Journey has been installed favourite to win the 2019 WS Cox Plate at Moonee Valley in October.
Following the release of nominations on Tuesday, Mystic Journey is a clear top pick at $4.50 in the TAB 'All In' market at this early stage in front of Godolphin representative Avilius ($6).
French Group winner Danceteria, Oaks winer Verry Elleegant and the Godolphin veteran Hartnell are on the third line at $11.
All Star Mile winner Mytsic Journey is due to return to racing on Saturday week at Caulfield in what will be her first step towards the weight-for-age championship of Australasia.
"Mystic Journey is a very popular horse and I would suggest she will be a big liability for us should she take her place in the Cox Plate field," said TAB spokesman Andrew Georgiou.
Mystic Journey tuned up for her return to racing by winning a trial at her home track of Devonport on Tuesday.
Mystic Journey is set to resume in the G2 PB Lawrence Stakes at Caulfield on August 16.
