Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for September 15.
Dubbo: Race 1 @ 12.15pm
Megalodon should work to the early lead. Cup day is upon us. Big fields with plenty of chances. Bjorn Baker sends an army of strong chances to this meeting and should get the chocolates in the opener. I speak of SHAMUSU SHO (1). Third-up and drops nicely back to country grade. Kept to the task well when third at Wyong most recently. Learning all the time. Step up in trip ideal and from the soft alley he'll take plenty of beating. GIOVANINA (6) looms as a threat. Given her chance when third as a favourite here on resumption. Fitter/further are pluses. Worth another chance. MEGALADON (2) has been around the mark all prep. Greg Ryan keen to stick. Expect a bold showing. SET GOALS (3) was an 850k yearling. First start for Crockett. Did run a nice race at Warwick Farm on debut. Has talent. SELECTION: Get the cash nice and early with #1 Shamusu Sho.

Sunshine Coast: Race 3 @ 2.19pm
Not much early pace evident for a 1200m race. SO YOU BEAUTY (12) resumed at Eagle Farm a fortnight ago and made a little late ground to finish less than 4 lengths from the winner at the end of 1000m. Huge class drop today and with added fitness over an extra furlong she looks to be the testing material. PURRFECT DEAL (11) is a debutante by Dundeel from a Tale Of The Cat mare with four winners to date. Trialling well and looks a ready-to-run type. SLIPPERY SLIDE (5) just went under after looking a winning hope close to home over this trip at the Gold Coast last start. Has only raced twice and improved sharply on the debut run which is a good sign. Can win with similar progress today. FLYING HONOUR (2) didn't do much on a heavy track on debut back in May. Trialled well at Deagon recently and the blinkers go on today so could bob up without surprising. SELECTION: #12 So You Beauty looks very well placed.
Mount Gambier Race 5 @ 3:05pm (AEST)
Olatunji can run them along. OLATUNJI (2), made a ratings spike leading and winning the 58 at Casterton 7 days ago. That reads well and he can win again now he's regained the mojo. SLEEK ACHEEVA (3) won four back and has been around the mark since in stronger grade. He can use the rail and looks a genuine hope. MONTRE (1) won and then didn't have the best of it at Casterton. Draws handy and consider on the 7-day return. TOMMY'S GIFT (5) is up to this at best and will be better for the first-up run. He's sharp second-up and is a chance with a good ride. SELECTION: #2 Olatunji looks well-placed to win again.
York: Race 7 @ 6:25pm (AEST)
Langley may be the one to lead. LANGLEY (2) presents off strong city races and prepared to forgive the last two. Led and missed a lip at Ascot in May and comes here off a 46 day freshen. Expect him to be ready and wins if he is. REVEREND JOHN (8) resumed at Belmont and finished it off okay in fourth. He'd trialled well prior and has more up the sleeve. PATCHIRAC (4) did nothing first-up at Belmont at long odds, but is better suited today and quick improvement wouldn't surprise. ADRIAN MAKFI (3) has a similar profile and gets the 3kg claim. SELECTION: Looks the right race for #2 Langley.
